Reactive Dog Training Group Class
Does the thought of taking your dog for a walk stress you out? Are you constantly hiding behind cars and bushes to avoid an embarrassing encounter on walks every time another dog appears? The Fiesty Fido group class provides pet parents opportunity to get things right with and for their leash reactive dogs in a safe setting.
This class is all on-leash, and focuses on building calm with dogs at a distance. It is specifically designed to teach handlers how to manage and change their dogs behavior for dogs that bark, lunge, growl or pull toward other dogs while on-leash. The classroom setup provides a unique environment in which dogs are visually separated from other dogs and people until they master the skills needed to practice their reactivity prevention work within visual sight of other dogs. All of our classes are kept supportive and safe, to help you learn skills and strategies to make walks more peaceful again.
This course is based on the book Feisty Fido: Help for the Leash-Reactive Dog by Patricia B. McConnell, PhD. and Karen B. London, PhD.
Free one-on-one evaluation and class prep as needed.
